The best time to do battle with one of these mighty fish is during their annual migration from April through July. It is possible to catch Tarpon other times of the year, but the migration is the best time for dedicated Tarpon fishing.Fighting a Tarpon is an amazing experience. Watching line fly off your reel as the fish jumps its way across the water is a sight no one can forget. While I am primarily fly fishing during the day for these amazing fish, I do offer bait fishing trips in the evening as well…Live mullet or blue crabs are a favorite food for these giants!
